Cutting, Splitting, & Loading
Many hours are spent to accomplish these three actions. Once done there is also the delivering. Most of this is done by Stephen. The Way Outside does have a few additional individuals who help at different times, all who are volunteers. As we expand and serve more families we are looking for more volunteers.
Speaking engagements
Spring of 2024. Speaking to a home school class at Remant Church. A great time of sharing what we do at The Way Outside, along with teaching wood cutting safety and fire starting.
Christmas Toy Drive
2024 Toys, wrapping papers, and many volunteers. As God provides we follow His lead. Right before Christmas The Way Outside was contacted stating Toys for Tots had a surplus of toys and wondered if we would be able to get them to people needing gifts to give their kids for Christmas. We said yes and together with help from people from Outdoorsmen Church and Remant Church the Saturday before Christmas people came to pick out toys and have them wrapped to place under their tree for their kids.
